Your text

All the tools on this site work inside your browser. The posts, captions and hashtags you type or paste are processed on your device and are never sent to this site or anyone else. There are no accounts and no ads; the only script from elsewhere is Cloudflare's cookie-free page-view counter, described below.

What is kept in your browser

This site uses your browser's local storage, which stays on your device, for a few conveniences:

• your light, dark or automatic colour theme;
• on the post length counter, your draft, the platform you highlight for, and your Mastodon server's limit, so a reload does not lose your work;
• on the thread splitter, your text and splitter settings.

The Clear buttons remove the saved drafts, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes everything. Nothing in local storage is sent anywhere.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and never receives what you type, paste or drop into the tools. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also handles the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies.

Links to other sites

Links to other websites, including CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck, are ordinary links: nothing is shared with them unless you click. On the thread splitter, if your text contains a web address, the WebTraceCheck link includes that one address so the audit opens with it filled in; the rest of your text is not included. Their own privacy policies apply once you are there.

Copying and downloading

Copy buttons put text on your clipboard only when you press them, and downloads are created in your browser from the text on the page.
